Young children like to give presents too but they will need a helping hand. If you have the time nothing beats presents that the kids make and there are lots of good ideas that will ensure whoever receives it will be doubly thrilled.
How much help and input you give depends on the child and their age, help as much as they need but make sure they feel as though it was their own work.
Older kids will usually be less interested in making thinks but will need a little help to ensure they buy something relevant with their meagre pocket money. Get them to make a list of all the people they want to buy for, check their available funds and make a budget with them. Then help them with some ideas that match. Use the experience to help teach them about money and budgets.
